Miami
Dragon Boat Festival

October 25th, 2025

Experience the thrill of dragon boat racing under the Florida sun at the Miami Dragon Boat Festival, where crystal-clear skies, warm ocean breezes, and high-energy competition come together for one unforgettable day. Set against the backdrop of Amelia Earhart Park, one of Miami’s most scenic waterfront spaces, this festival offers the perfect mix of sport, community, and sunshine-soaked celebration.

Whether you’re forming a local team for the first time or racing alongside some of Florida’s top crews, this event is your opportunity to get on the water and be part of a growing tradition in one of the most vibrant cities in the U.S.

GWN is especially proud of its long-standing partnership with Save Our Sisters Miami, an inspiring breast cancer survivor team and local nonprofit. Proceeds and fundraising efforts from the festival directly support their mission to introduce more survivors to the healing power and camaraderie of dragon boat paddling.

All teams will enjoy standard 500m racing, ensuring a competitive and fun format for paddlers of all experience levels. Off the water, the festival grounds buzz with excitement. Spectators can cheer on their favorite teams and learn about the sport, while families and supporters explore the Health and Wellness Village, featuring vendors offering products and services to support a healthy, active lifestyle.

There’s something for everyone—from cultural exhibits and food vendors to relaxing outdoor spaces perfect for enjoying the day. Kids can play, families can picnic, and paddlers can recharge between races under the warm Miami sun.

Don’t miss your chance to experience the energy, sunshine, and community spirit of Miami through the sport of dragon boat. Join us at Amelia Earhart Park and help make waves for a great cause while celebrating life, resilience, and the joy of paddling in paradise.
