We are a fun, positive, and recreational dragon boat team with a bit of a competitive vibe. Our focus is to be inclusive and welcome all paddlers regardless of age, fitness level or dragon boat experience. We came together to practice and race to achieve realistic and collective goals. We care about improving our own performance every time, no matter where or who we are up against. Practices take place once a week on Thursdays at 7:30 pm from May to September at Outer Harbour in Toronto. We also organize social events throughout the year. We are the Dragonators! A rec/intermediate level team recruiting paddlers new and experienced. All ages are welcome! We practice at Sunnyside, Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm, we get in the water May 7th!

We like to strive a vibe of having fun, learning good technique and building stamina for races so we can win that oh so sweet bling. Join us on the water for this season! We get on the water the first week of May and paddle until our final race in August.

SPEED Dragon Boat Club consists of two teams (SOS & SSB) and was formed in 2024. We have had one full season together however, most of us had paddled independently before joining SPEED. Although we are new, we improved significantly throughout the year and we plan on continuing that trend in 2025! We are a fun group that also organizes numerous social events throughout the year. We welcome paddlers from beginner to experienced who are looking for a social, but competitive team. We practice once a week at Balmy Beach Canoe Club on Tuesday evenings.

Paddlers Anonymous (PA) was founded in 2000 by three students from the University of Waterloo. It was originally created as a way for new friends to have fun and experience the sport of dragon boat racing over the course of one summer. Since then, PA has grown into a multi-team organization involving dynamic individuals from various Canadian universities and the Greater Toronto Area workforce. Are you looking for a sport that’s fun, challenging, and gets you on the water? Join DaCatch – a competitively focused recreational dragon boat team! We’re seeking a few more paddlers ready to learn and sharpen their skills, build strength, and push past limits.

True North Leviathan is one of the largest and fastest-growing dragon boat racing programs in Toronto, Canada, dedicated to developing athletes beyond the recreational level. We are a progressive team focused on helping athletes unlock their full potential, offering opportunities for both new and experienced paddlers. Our emphasis is on creating an environment that promotes growth, fosters a strong sense of competitiveness, and builds community spirit.

The Leviathan Orange-Red team is our “gateway development” mixed-gender program, specifically designed to provide athletes with the foundational skills necessary to advance beyond recreational participation. For those seeking to take their skills to the next level, the Leviathan Gold-Black “competitive development” mixed-gender team and the Purple (women’s) program are geared toward refining skills for high-performance competitive racing. These teams are committed to consistently being among the fastest “twice-a-week” crews in the province, setting ambitious goals for excellence in the sport.

Join Gilda’s Dragons this summer, to Get Fit, Enjoy the Great Outdoors, and Make New Friends. We are a group of like-minded women, cancer survivors and supporters. We welcome individuals of all experience levels, from seasoned paddlers to beginners. Whether you’re looking to try something new, stay active, or make meaningful connections, Gilda’s Dragon Boat team offers a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. If you or someone you know is interested in joining our team, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for more information or to sign up. Founded in 2023, the Toronto Wyvern Club is home to a vibrant and multicultural dragon boat team open to paddlers of all levels — whether you’re new to the sport or have years of experience under your belt.

We’re more than just a team — we’re a community united by passion, perseverance, and the power of teamwork. Under the expert guidance of Coach Bonny, a 26-year dragon boat veteran and Team Canada paddler who has competed on the world stage, you’ll develop your technique, build fitness, and unlock your full potential.
