We are the Dragonators! A rec/intermediate level team recruiting paddlers new and experienced. All ages are welcome! We practice at Sunnyside, Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm, we get in the water May 7th!

We like to strive a vibe of having fun, learning good technique and building stamina for races so we can win that oh so sweet bling. Join us on the water for this season! We get on the water the first week of May and paddle until our final race in August.

Paddlers Anonymous (PA) was founded in 2000 by three students from the University of Waterloo. It was originally created as a way for new friends to have fun and experience the sport of dragon boat racing over the course of one summer. Since then, PA has grown into a multi-team organization involving dynamic individuals from various Canadian universities and the Greater Toronto Area workforce. The Leviathan Orange-Red team is our “gateway development” mixed-gender program, specifically designed to provide athletes with the foundational skills necessary to advance beyond recreational participation. For those seeking to take their skills to the next level, the Leviathan Gold-Black “competitive development” mixed-gender team and the Purple (women’s) program are geared toward refining skills for high-performance competitive racing. These teams are committed to consistently being among the fastest “twice-a-week” crews in the province, setting ambitious goals for excellence in the sport.

Join Gilda’s Dragons this summer, to Get Fit, Enjoy the Great Outdoors, and Make New Friends. We are a group of like-minded women, cancer survivors and supporters. We welcome individuals of all experience levels, from seasoned paddlers to beginners. Founded in 2023, the Toronto Wyvern Club is home to a vibrant and multicultural dragon boat team open to paddlers of all levels — whether you’re new to the sport or have years of experience under your belt.

We’re more than just a team — we’re a community united by passion, perseverance, and the power of teamwork. Under the expert guidance of Coach Bonny, a 26-year dragon boat veteran and Team Canada paddler who has competed on the world stage, you’ll develop your technique, build fitness, and unlock your full potential.

Join the S.A.C.A. Dragon Boat Team!

The Suncoast Asian Cultural Association (S.A.C.A.) is a dragon boat team based in Tampa, Florida. Founded in 2015 as a small local club, we’ve grown into a dynamic nonprofit with members across the country. We race at community festivals and world championship events alike.

But we’re more than just a racing team. S.A.C.A. is proud to celebrate and share Asian heritage through:

Community outreach
Traditional dragon & lion dance performances
Rhythmic Tanggu drumming and music

Our Mission:

Promote Asian cultural activities within the Tampa Bay community.
Provide access and opportunities in the sport of dragon boating.
Uphold fairness, safety, and good sportsmanship for all members.

Puff is a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2003, based in Miami, FL, and practicing in the Miami Marine Stadium basin. We have 3-4 practices per week, all year, and races spread out throughout the year. We encourage use of the club OC-1s and OC-2s for training, and we use the OC-2 for testing for race seats.

The head coach is a five time Team USA paddler and ongoing Team USA coach, and all assistant coaches are multi-time team USA veterans. We have some races where we are multiple boats deep in a division and everyone races, and others where the bar for a seat is very high.

We are an established, fun, positive, and recreational dragon boat team based out of Outer Harbour in Toronto. Our focus is to be inclusive and welcome all paddlers regardless of age or experience.

Please note that we practice to race. Dragon boating is a fun and athletic sport, but it does need a basic level of fitness, so that you can paddle steadily for roughly one hour.

Practices take place weekly from May to September. We care about improving our performance, no matter where we are or who we are up against. Together, we can build a sense of belonging, inclusion and achievement.

Georgina Dragon Boat Club is a community-based paddling club in Georgina, Ontario, offering recreational, leisure, and youth dragon boat programs for all experience levels. We practice regularly on Lake Simcoe, with locations in Keswick and Holland Landing. Our focus is on teamwork, technique, fitness, and fun in a welcoming and supportive environment that builds confidence and community through the sport of dragon boat.
